Parking:

There will be parking on race day at Soldier Field's North Parking Garage and Waldron Deck, which is located just a few blocks south of Grant Park where the Polar Dash starts and finishes. It will be open on race day at 6:00 a.m.

Prepay: $10 + $3 service fee (for up to 12 hours of parking).  These folks are guaranteed a space and the parking is good all day, any time during the day on January 14th. Prepay for your parking NOW by clicking here.

Pay at the garage on January 14th:  $10, but you must be in the ramp by 9:30 a.m.  After 9:30 a.m. the rate increases to $16 for under 4 hours and $19 for 4-12 hours.  You can pay on race day with either cash or credit cards.

Public Transportation

Public transportation to the event is highly recommended, but due to CTA construction, please plan ahead for delays!

Red & Green & Orange Lines: Exit at Roosevelt stop at the corner of Roosevelt and State; walk East to Columbus, then walk north to the event site at the northeast corner of Columbus and Roosevelt.

Brown Line: Exit at Library/State/Van Buren at the corner of Van Buren and State; walk 3 blocks South to Balbo walk East to Columbus, then walk South to the event site at the northeast corner of Columbus and Roosevelt.

Driving Directions
 From 90/94: Take 290W/Eisenhower Expy/Congress Exit 51H; turn Right at Michigan Ave and Left onto E Balbo Dr. Limited on-street parking is available on Columbus Dr.
